chocolate chip cookies

Who wouldn’t love chewy on the middle and crisp on the edges kind of cookies? Well I do, especially when there’s chocolate, too. These cookies are amazing and also really supereasy and fast to make.
And they have a habit of disappearing quickly after I've made them, hopefully that's a good sign :)

This recipe makes about 12-14 cookies.

Recipe:

110g butter (room temperature)
100g sugar
100g light syrup
1 egg
1 tspn vanilla extract
190g all purpose flour
¼ tspn baking soda
200g chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 175c ( 360F).

2. Cream together butter and sugar until the mixture is fluffy. Add syrup, egg and vanilla extract and mix.
3. Mix together flour and baking soda and add with the wet ingredients. Mix just until combined.
4. Lastly, add chocolate chips and drop large spoonfuls to a baking tray with parchment paper.
5. Bake about 10-12 minutes, until they are light brown on the edges.

Happy baking!
